Rich Ditto

Vice President, Operations

Rich has been an asset to Fredon since 1981. His top priority is our customer partners. He keeps jobs on track so our customers receive quality parts on time. He believes that each team member has a direct responsibility to our customers to manufacture the highest quality and to provide the best service possible.

Incorporating lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives, Rich strives to ensure Fredon’s competitiveness in the global marketplace. He makes certain our highly-skilled and experienced master machinists are provided state-of-the-art equipment. This enables us to work on our customers’ most challenging items.

Recognizing the importance of working directly with our customers’ purchasing, engineering and project managers, Rich regularly meets with them to discuss manufacturability, value engineering and cost-savings opportunities. He believes we are most effective when having this kind of open relationship.

Rich believes that domestic manufacturing plays a vital part of a strong America. That has prompted him to serve on several school manufacturing advisory boards. He is currently a member of the Tech Prep Governing Board of Lakeland Community College and the Advisory Board at Auburn Career Center. He is also a member of the NTMA (National Tooling and Machining Association) Technology Team.

His vision of the future and his ability to keep our organization operating efficiently has contributed greatly to Fredon’s success.
